Geriatric Massage
Students will be taught how to work on the elderly client with the knowledge and support of the client’s physician whenever necessary. A holistic massage therapy that treats the whole person, not just the condition, in older patients. Geriatric massage differs from other massage techniques, as it utilizes altered standard techniques suited to the physical conditions in older populations.
