Dress Code
Students are expected to dress in clean, comfortable and non-provocative clothing. While giving a massage, it is suggested that students wear absorbable cotton, loose-fitting clothing and short-sleeves. A uniform will be worn during clinic hours. Therapy jackets, aprons, headbands, and waist packs for lotion are acceptable and encouraged.
Dress that is NOT APPROPRIATE includes but is not limited to sleeveless shirts, tank tops, sheer blouses, revealing V-neck shirts, short skirts, short shorts, cut-offs, tattered clothing, and excessively big shirts and pants. Shoes will always be worn during massage practicum’s.
No jewelry, including body piercing ornamentation, with the exception of earrings during massage sessions. Short finger nails will be required. No false long nails, which include acrylic.
