Aromatherapy - Experience a combination of the three models to help yourself, your clients and loved ones (including children and pets) improve their health and wellness. Also learn safety and precautionary information. Tuition $30.00 Sunday 6/6, 13, 20 2010 1-3pm 6 hours.
Basic Foot Reflexology Massage - In this course you will learn the history of Reflexology, numerous causes of tender spots, reflex locations for all regions of the body, when to reflex lighter, contraindications and benefits of Reflexology. Tuition $30.00 7/16, 7/23 Friday 6-8pm 6 hours.
Massage Therapy Sampler Class - Get an introduction into what massage therapy is. Learn basic massage skills, practice these skills and techniques on others, experience them yourself and gain insight into education and careers in massage therapy and bodywork. Tutition $40.00 6/4 - 6/25 Friday 6 - 8 pm 8 hours.
Spa Therapy - Get an introduction into what Spa Therapy involves; learn how to use clay and scrubs. Learn basic massage skills and practice these techniques on others and experience them yourself. Students - bring the following to class - A set of twin sheets, 4 hand towels, and 2 large bath towels. Tuition $40.00 7/ 11, 18 Sunday 1-3pm 4 hours
Geriatric Massage -Learn to effectively massage, with compassion our senior citizens. You will learn a basic technique. Benefits and contraindications will be considered. Bring a pillow to class. Tuition $30.00 5/14, 21 Friday 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
River Stone Massage - In this class you will learn to combine heated stones with Swedish Massage strokes to deliver therapeutic benefits to the client. There will also be instruction on proper care and handling of stones and all other equipment necessary for Therapeutic River Stone Massage. Bring a set of sheets and a pillow case, hand towel. Tuition $30.00 7/30, 8/6 Friday 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
